Jarod "Green" plays the role of a bounty hunter in order to find out who is trying to kill Mike Bodie, a Native American who answered Jarod's website plea for information about his family.
Bodie's land lies just outside of the reservation, next to a major mining operation. Bodie has protested the mining operation for years in order to keep them away from his land. Every time the company would have him arrested, Bodie would jump bail and go right back to protesting. Because Bodie's land is outside of the reservation, in order for his family to maintain ownership, it has to be passed from generation to generation. With no wife or children, Mike Bodie is the last in his family. If he dies before he marries and has an heir, the land reverts to the tribe.
The tribal agent has been selling bits of the reservation to the mining company for years and needs Bodie's land to complete the package. When Bodie refuses to sell, Vincent blows up one of the mining company's rigs and frames Bodie for it, knowing that the mining company would put a bounty on his head when he jumped bail. Vincent plans to shoot Bodie and then blame his death on the bounty hunters. When his land reverts to the tribe, as agent, Vincent would be free to sell it to the mining company, adding to the personal profit he's been hiding away each time a land sale has been made.
Jarod exposes Vince's plan, gets the bounty off of Mike Bodie's head and finds out what he has to tell him about the man who saved his life as a child, Major Charles.
After being sent to the renewal wing, Mr. Fenigor's mind has been wiped clean and he doesn't recall even knowing Miss Parker, much less what might or might not have happened to her mother. Angelo manages to empath the sheets that were on Mr. Fenigor's bed, giving Miss Parker the number of a "center archive receptacle" that contains the gun with which her mother was murdered.
Miss Parker turns the tables on her father by telling him what he wants to hear when she says that she's going to put her mother's death behind her and move on. In truth, Miss Parker has no intention of ceasing her quest to exact revenge on Jarod's father, who she believes murdered her mother.
Sydney regains his sight and Jarod discovers "pigs in a blanket."
